Live Mock invigilation is one of our most sought-after roles at Contour, with many opportunities for personal and professional growth. As a Live UCAT Mock Invigilator, you will be entrusted with ensuring that the mocks are run on time with a high degree of professionalism. You are tasked with setting up the testing centre, ensuring it functions properly and guiding students throughout the process. Your role is to act as a professional yet friendly and helpful invigilator. You will often be the first physical interaction between students and Contour MedPrep, demonstrating the importance of an excellent first impression. You'll work closely with our UCAT Live Mock Team Leader and our senior invigilators to upskill and refine your communication and problem-solving skills, and you'll be thoroughly introduced to all of our procedures, hardware, software and program structure. By the end of your initial training, the role will become second nature to you, and you'll know our programs and processes inside out! When starting out, you'll feel confident running live mocks with the help of our senior invigilators, who have lots of experience and are excited to teach and mentor you. After the initial training, you'll also have regular 1-on-1 check-ins with the Live Mock Team Leader and ongoing group training to help accelerate your personal and professional development within the role. There will also be regular team meetings and social catch-ups to keep everyone on the same page and to help you build long-lasting, genuine relationships with the rest of our fantastic team! Key Responsibilities As one of our Live Mock Invigilators, your main responsibilities include:Set-Up and Pack-Up of Testing Centre(s). Setting up and packing up all equipment, supplies and furniture required for all rooms in the testing centre, including but not limited to the waiting room, testing room, check-in room and debrief room. This is your opportunity to contribute to creating an innovative and accurate testing environment which perfectly simulates the real UCAT!Running Live Mock Exams. This includes facilitating an accurate waiting room and check-in process, marking attendance and calling absentees, troubleshooting technical issues, carefully invigilating students during exams, promptly ending exams and ensuring students receive their results. This is the bulk of the role and is a fun + social environment with the rest of the team!Post-Exam Student Debriefs. This is where you can let your personality shine through by empathising with students and talking to them after their exam, discussing their experience with energy and professionalism. This also involves addressing any feedback/complaints received and interacting with guardians where required. Expected Work Hours Around 14 Hours per Week during School Holiday periods, including December, January, April (2 Week Holidays) and July (2 Week Holidays).
