You will have true value, ownership and the opportunity to own, build and continuously develop the financial strategy and function of Mediquip as well as impact on the development of the team and long-term growth goals of the business.Your high performance in the first 12 months will centre around the following objectives:Finance Business Partnering:Build strong relationships with the CEO, COO and Executive Team to understand their strategic goals and provide financial and performance insights and guidance to support decision-making.Work closely with business teams to identify and implement revenue and cost optimisation opportunities and drive profitability.Act as a trusted advisor to the business and our practice network, providing financial analysis, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to support growth and profitability.Technical Financial Leadership:Ensure that the company's accounting policies and procedures are in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.Stay current on emerging accounting standards and provide guidance on their impact on the company's financial reporting.Lead the preparation of financial statements and disclosures to ensure that they accurately reflect the company's financial performance.Financial Control and Governance:Develop and maintain strong internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.Lead the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts to ensure that they are accurate, realistic, and in line with the company's financial goals.Continuously monitor financial performance and identify potential areas of risk, developing and implementing plans to mitigate them.Manage sound Board and Company Secretary processes.Performance Management:Implement and maintain a robust performance management framework to support decision-making and drive ownership of performance outcomes and the actions required to ensure they are delivered.Collaborate with business teams to develop key performance indicators, the reporting and analytics required to understand and track progress, and provide regular updates to the leadership team.Lead the preparation of regular financial reports and presentations to provide insights into business performance and support decision-making.Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and support their career growth.Create a positive and collaborative work environment that fosters teamwork, communication, innovation and a business partnering culture.As a finance leader with highly attuned business acumen, you will have the ability to partner with and influence our leaders and our operational teams. You must have a passion for technical accounting, analytics and modelling, coupled with the ability to lead others in data-led decision making. Experience as trusted advisor to CEO and board in high growth and aligned industry to medical devices is helpful for someone coming into this role, but not essential. Critical is someone with the ability to adapt to, own and drive change rapidly.
