This role is an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join our Construction Division and assist our experienced team working on residential and mixed-use projects.
We seek an experienced Site Manager with experience delivering multi-storey residential, mixed-use, and industrial buildings.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure that adequate construction and HSE planning are developed and carried out before commencing on-site and at appropriate times throughout the project.
* Controlling and monitoring the overall construction program for earliest completion.
* Assisting in preparing a detailed scope of work for each trade package.
* Ensuring implementation and effective use of project quality assurance systems and controls.
* Administration of all project HSE policies and procedures.
* Oversee the implementation of all site safety and ensure all procedures are monitored according to the project management plans.
* Monitor the progress of works against the current construction program and ensure all trades are coordinating with each other.
* Manage staff and contractors effectively, leading the team in achieving project milestones.
* Schedule and coordinate with project management staff on priority issues/tasks being identified and actioned.
* Oversee the quality of trade works to ensure the required standard is achieved in all cases.
* Lead and ensure all site personnel and subcontractors are adequately guided and have the appropriately allocated resources, tools and materials for the required tasks.
* Inspect work in progress for quality and compliance.
* Programming and coordination of sub-contractors, suppliers, and materials deliveries.
* Developing and building strong rapport with site teams, internal and external stakeholders.
* Managing HSEQ compliance on-site.
* Provide regular documentation required for the project to the Project Manager or Head Office regularly and on an ad hoc on-request basis.
* Interact with other construction and Head office personnel to achieve the required results.
* Perform and implement inductions and ensure that all on-site personnel have had the required training and induction.
* Follow and enforce company procedures.
* Ensure that all equipment, plant, machinery and vehicles on site are maintained and safe.
* Validating works performed by subcontractors in relation to quality, compliance with their contract and scope of works, checking quantity and testing.
* Assessing and minimising risk.
