We are One Weatherford.The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented Repair & Maintenance (R&M) Technician to join our team at Weatherford Malaga, Perth. Reporting to the R&M Management, this permanent full-time role will be responsible for the inspection, testing, qualification, repair, and maintenance of field tools and equipment. This position is crucial to ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment, data acquisition systems, downhole tools, and communication equipment.Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, retrofit, and upgrades on various equipment typesConduct thorough inspections and testing using precision measuring instruments and testing devicesLead and oversee maintenance tasks carried out by other R&M employeesParticipate in daily operations and safety meetings, including toolbox talks and Job Hazard AnalysisTroubleshoot complex issues across a wide range of equipment and systemsMaintain accurate documentation through Work Orders, forms, and relevant databasesSupport LEAN initiatives and participate in continuous improvement programsOrder parts and supplies according to company guidelinesEnsure compliance with all safety protocols, especially when working with hazardous materialsMaintain effective communication with all key stakeholdersRequirements 0-2 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industryHigh School DiplomaBasic computer skillsStrong mathematical aptitudeUnderstanding of NDT, NDE, and ATEX policies & principlesProven ability in equipment maintenance, repair, and troubleshootingExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and quality controlPhysical capability to meet role demandsStrong communication and documentation abilitiesAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamThe Rewards Opportunity for career growth and skill developmentWork with industry-leading technology and equipmentComprehensive training and development programsSupportive team environmentFocus on safety and professional developmentContact Us We are an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
