About the role Join Mater's Supply Chain Operations team in a casual Storeperson / Imprest Officer role based in South Brisbane and potential to cover Redlands and Springfield.
In this role, you will provide efficient inventory and warehouse operational support to the Supply Chain Operations team. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth inventory receipt and distribution to Mater customers, as well as timely communication to support quality stock control.
As part of the centralised Mater Supply Chain Operations team, you will contribute to building collaborative relationships and adopting a business partnering approach. The typical duties of the role include:
Ensure accurate receipt and distribution of goods within the warehouseCollaborate with the Supply Chain Operations team to address order and stock issues promptlySupport stocktake activities and maintain high-quality stock control processesFollow Mater Supply Chain Operations imprest management processes for replenishing stock levelsProvide excellent customer service, contribute to team development, and adhere to quality, risk, and governance guidelinesEmbrace the one-team approach to deliver regional supply chain services, including purchasing, inventory control, warehousing, imprest management, and customer serviceAbout you The successful candidate will ideally have a Certificate II in Transport and Logistics (Warehousing and Storage) in addition to:
Demonstrated experience in warehousing operations, preferably in a large, complex organisation, within a healthcare setting being preferredProficiency in working with inventory management platforms, including imprest managementOrganised, detail-oriented with a change mindsetProactive in raising issues and finding solutions within a team environmentStrong focus on customer outcomes and service deliveryCollaborative mindset for process development and improvementCommitted to best practices and continuous quality improvementMater is Queensland's largest and most innovative not-for-profit healthcare service, providing care for almost 700,000 patients a year across a network of 11 hospitals.
