Ability to operate, maintain and clean transfer station including conveyor/compaction system, associated facilities and storage locations to a high standard. Assist customers to utilize facilities to maximise waste diversion and enhance resource recovery Computer skills as required to operate weighbridge software and associated technology. Working knowledge of the operating requirements of selected waste disposal plant and equipment including minor servicing and associated operational checks. HR Drivers' Licence - mandatory. Licensed and competent in operation of heavy plant such as front-end loader (to enable pushing up of stockpiles on site and disengaging/movement of transfer station compactor bins) - desirable Demonstrated experience in the waste management/disposal industry.
