About the role We are currently recruiting an Operation Technology (OT) Security Architect, to join our Cyber Resilience Delivery team for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This role can be based anywhere within Essential Energy’s operational footprint. The Operational Technology Security Architect is responsible for the design, planning and development of Essential Energy’s secure systems and architectural services ensuring they align with business strategies and technology directions. This role will deliver strategic direction and planning activities that enable delivery of OT architectures with a focus on adherence to safety, regulatory compliance, resilience and the evolution of security controls with the mission critical function of the organisation. You will be a key partner and advisor to the Enterprise Security Architect, highlighting the contribution that technology makes to business objectives through corporate strategic planning and business initiatives. About You You are a highly experienced professional of over 10 years’ experience in technical design, architecture and consulting. You possess proven Architecture expertise across all Security Architecture domains preferably with experience of Industrial Control Systems or safety focused industries and strong technical knowledge of a broad range of technologies with a focus on securing these technologies against standards and industry frameworks. We are seeking an individual with a consultative approach who has proven management experience in leading analytical reviews, developing business cases, and enhancing technology infrastructure. Your contributions demonstrate the vital role technology plays in achieving business objectives through strategic planning and initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor Degree of Information Technology, or Engineering or Cyber Security or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
