About the role My client is seeking a professional and engaging Bookkeeper to provide varied support to a tight-knit team, working in the construction industry. This is a diverse role that will allow the successful candidate to work across a number of key business areas, and positively contribute to the success of the business. You must have excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to work, with the attitude that no task is too big or too small. Duties Your responsibilities will include, the following: End-to-end Bookkeeping responsibilities which include Accounts Receivable, Payable, Reconciliations, Reporting and Payroll Managing all office-related requirements and projects Skills / Experience The ideal individual will have experience working in a similar role, as well as: Prior experience in a Bookkeeping and Administration role Confident in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Excellent organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Great instincts with an acute sense of urgency and the ability to multitask Flexible and happy to adapt to changing situations with a positive ‘can-do attitude Great oral communication and interpersonal skills particularly telephone skills Highly proficient with written communication - particularly in e-mail correspondence Experience using Xero is highly advantageous however not essential To Apply To apply please follow the link below or for a confidential discussion please email Jay Barlow at JBarlowSharpandCarter.com.au
