The Opportunity
Consolidated Power Projects (CPP) are an industry leader in utility and renewable high-voltage power solutions. Are You Ready To Kickstart Your Career In Finance? Join Our Agile CPP Finance Team And Gain Invaluable Experience Across Essential Finance Areas. As a Graduate, You’ll Work Alongside Our Financial And Project Accountants, Participating In 6 Month Rotations Through:
Financial Accounting
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
* Record financial transactions accurately in the general ledger using accounting software or manual entry methods.
* Assist in FBT and GST preparation and compliance by gathering data, preparing schedules, and supporting documentation for tax filings.
* Provide documentation, explanations, and reconciliations to Internal and External Auditors.
* Help establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Support the implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of our ERP system.
Management Accounting
* Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecast.
* Assist the finance team with variance analysis.
* Support cost allocation methods.
Project Accounting
* Assist in the recognition of project revenue based on the percentage of completion or milestone achievement.
* Assist in the consolidation of project forecast revenue and costs.
Financial Analysis
* Assist with the preparation of monthly and yearly Financial Ratios.
* Assist with the preparation of CPP Performance Reports.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* Tertiary qualification in Commerce/Accounting or similar.
* Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Able to establish work priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment.
* Be motivated, proactive and results-oriented.
* Willing to undertake further study by way of CPA/CA.
