About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated Human Resources Business Partner to join our Geelong based team, on a full-time basis.
Your Responsibilities
* Assist General Managers in divisional development and contribute to general human resource needs
* SUPPORT people policies, procedures and disciplines to improve business efficiencies and maintain compliance
* In-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, minimising legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance
* Managing and resolving complex employee relations issues
* Conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations
* Supporting workforce retention by working closely with management and employees
* Providing detailed HR policy guidance and interpretation
* Providing high level EBA guidance and interpretation
* Supporting the delivery of operational recruitment processes as aligned with McColl's classifications
About You
You will be a driven, practical individual who is passionate about people.
* Exceptional relationship management skills, underpinned by your ability to build trust and influence across a diverse range of stakeholders
* A strong work ethic and operational focus that allows you to maintain confidentiality within the business
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Law, Business, or related field
* Experience within a similar role, ideally within transport and logistics
* Demonstrated experience managing complex HR business issues and workplace planning needs
* Experience in Industrial Relations and EBA management (preferred)
