Position Title: Maintenance Electrical Fitter – Food Manufacturing

About the Role:
This Maintenance Electrical Fitter role involves maintaining and repairing automated equipment in a food manufacturing facility. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot machinery breakdowns, and engage in workshop and project work to support production efficiency. This role is ideal for someone experienced in FMCG environments, with skills in fault diagnosis, pneumatics, and motors, who thrives in a fast-paced, safety-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preventative Maintenance: Routine adjustments and maintenance on automated equipment.
* Equipment Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair machinery, including mixers, ovens, conveyors, and motors.
* Workshop Repairs: Use equipment like lathes, mills, and welders for general repairs.
* Project Work: Assist with commissioning new equipment and project-based tasks.
* Fault Diagnosis: Identify and rectify equipment faults to reduce downtime.
* Compliance: Adhere to safety, food safety, and quality standards.
Skills & Experience:
* Electrical Certification: Full Electrical Certificate or Non-Restricted Electrical Licence (NREL) required.
* FMCG Experience: Background in fast-paced, automated manufacturing, ideally food production.
* Fault-Finding: Skilled in diagnosing and repairing automated machinery issues.
* Pneumatics & Motors: Experience with pneumatic systems, conveyors, and motors.
* Independent Work: Ability to work autonomously in a shift-based environment.
