Job Description About the role: The Quality Assurance Manager is a member of the Divisional/JV Leadership team and has responsibility for all aspects of Quality at the sites for the Food contact and Non-food contact recycled products.
This role will be stationed at our Albury site.
The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the appropriate quality systems throughout the manufacturing and sales process.
Responsibilities: Tailor, implement and maintain the quality systems from the outset.
Work with the Site Leadership team, and JV partners to set up and implement the quality systems and processes to achieve the agreed QAS certification/s.
Work with Joint Venture partners to ensure specifications are agreed and documented, SLA are outlined, clear, processes are documented and adhered to Maintain, Review and Improve Quality Systems, including FSSC 22000 V 5.1 for food-contact products, and ongoing 3rd party system certification requirements.
Understanding of EFSA, US FDA & Customer specific requirements that relate to the site and ensuring identified PRPs are managed in line with requirements.
Support the Site Manager to build and maintain strong personal relationships with key client stakeholders, ensuring contractual compliance in service delivery to retain and grow Promote a culture of zero harm including an unrelenting focus on continually improving our safety culture About You: 5+years in a similar Quality role Track record in successful set-up of Quality systems such as FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001.
Previous Experience in a quality role in a food-plastics or food company.
Additional experience in a technical or operational role/s in the food-plastics or food industry will be preferable.
A personable leader, with the ability to communicate and connect across all levels Experienced in driving cost improvement strategy in an industrial, low margin, high volume business or business unit.
Experience interfacing with customers, suppliers, System certifiers/Auditors Led significant value creation project for a company or division Australia / New Zealand experience.
