As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) you willbe responsible for maintenance and modification of the EC135 Mechanical systems and associated equipment.
Your duties will include Aircraft flight-line handling and servicing duties, removal and installation of aircraft components, disassembly and reassembly of aircraft components, preparation and use of aircraft support equipment and inspection, maintenance, servicing, repair and fault diagnosis of components and systems operating in both the line maintenance and base maintenance environments.
Applications from 4th year apprentices who are currently enrolled in and working towards completion of Certificate IV Aeroskills (Mechanical) will also be considered.Essential CriteriaCertificate IV Aeroskills (Mechanical);Promoting a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with EH&S policies and procedures.Ensuring all maintenance tasks carried out are IAW the applicable Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and certified in the maintenance documentation.
Previous experience working on rotary wing aircraftAbility to successfully interact with co-workers, maintaining productive working relationships to meet team, business unit, and organisational goals;Flexibility with working hours and locations;Hold or be able to obtain a "Baseline" Security Clearance as per Defence Department requirements; andWillingness to reside in Nowra, NSW area.Desirable CriteriaCurrent B1.3 MAML or the ability to obtainCert IV StructuresPrevious experience working on rotary wing aircraftEC135 series Aircraft Type courseSafran Arrius B2 line 1 and 2 maintenance training Security Clearance You will be required to successfully undergo the vetting process for a Government security clearance (Baseline) sponsored by BDA.
Therefore, you must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and must have the ability to verify your background for whole of life i.e.
birth to present time.
