Your new role
Mentally Healthy WA is looking for an experienced public health campaign manager to lead the Act Belong Commit mental health promotion campaign in a fixed-term (until Jun 2026), full-time (1.0 FTE) opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have proven campaign management skills and the ability to develop and implement strategies that achieve desired outcomes through effective management of media, finances, physical resources, and human resources. They should also have a track record of successfully securing funding and developing and maintaining effective partnerships with various government, non-government, and community organisations.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Support and enhance the Act-Belong-Commit campaign through measurable outcomes and targeted mental health interventions.
* Advocate for funding, manage media relations, and represent the campaign in various partnerships and committees.
* Evaluate effectiveness, manage budgets, and prepare reports for stakeholders.
* Engage in additional relevant activities as necessary.

Selection Criteria
1. Postgraduate qualifications in Health Promotion, Health Science, Health Research or equivalent and extensive experience in managing health projects.
2. Demonstrated experience conducting, designing and/or contributing towards outcome evaluation and research.
3. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to develop and implement project plans to achieve desired outcomes through effective management of financial, physical and human resources.
4. Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively consult and negotiate with a diverse range of clients, partners, stakeholders and authorities.
5. Excellent written communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise, authorative and persuasive reports, proposals and submissions.
6. Proven ability to manage a team in the achievement of goals and objectives, including workforce planning.
Desirable
* Demonstrated experience implementing and evaluating health promotion campaigns or related initiatives.
* Understanding of the principles underpinning the Act-Belong-Commit campaign.
