What does a Graduate Mechanical Engineer in our Water team do? On a day to day basis, you might be involved in:
Carrying out site investigations under the supervision of a senior engineer, collecting site constraints and data as input to Mechanical design.Performing Mechanical engineering tasks as assigned by the lead engineer which may include design calculations, specifying Mechanical components/equipment, producing design sketches, collaborating with drafting and multi-disciplinary team to produce 3D models and drawings, datasheets, equipment specifications, reports, and design criteria to support water infrastructure projects.Attending design meetings and implementing action items into the design under the supervision of a senior engineer.Assisting with developing and managing project scope including cost estimates, budget, staffing, and schedule.Working collaboratively with our location clients and colleagues across NSW and Australia.Working in project offices, involved in different project types such as Water/Wastewater treatment plants with support of a senior engineer if required.Following Stantec's HSSE policies on site and in the office.Why Stantec?
