About the Role
As an Accounts Assistant, you will report to the Treasury Manager and be responsible for treasury functions across various appointments. We seek a collaborative and accountable team member.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain electronic cashbooks through MYOB Insolvency for companies and individuals, including bank reconciliations.
* Draft EFT payments, including payroll.
* Handle superannuation and STP reporting.
* Prepare BAS and PAYG returns for multiple insolvent entities.
* Liaise with major banks regarding banking facilities.
* Maintain ATO Business Services online for multiple insolvent entities.
* Contribute to funds handling policies and cash book practice statements.
* Prepare Statutory Reports for insolvent entities and estates.
Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* Building relationships and networks.
* Concern for quality and standards.
* Attention to detail.
* Motivation and flexibility.
* Self-confidence.
Preferred Experience:
* BAS preparation experience.
* Accounting software experience.
* MYOB experience.
