You will coordinate across multiple departments to ensure alignment towards common goals. In this role, you’ll manage a team to create and maintain production schedules while driving continuous improvements across the planning function. What you’ll do Lead, mentor, and develop a dedicated team of planners Creating and managing the production schedule for shell egg and egg products based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels, ensuring that production runs smoothly and that there are no delays or bottlenecks. Make sure inventory levels are maintained to guarantee the availability of ungraded eggs, packaging materials, and finished goods when required. Additionally, you’ll monitor inventory to avoid waste. Communicate with different departments in real-time regarding any production delays or issues that could impact delivery schedules. Monitor transport planning – farm pickups, graded ungraded eggs, as well as packaging materials and CHEP pallets. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and developing a team. Advanced PC literacy, particularly in MS Office, with high proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments. Ability to work independently while also thriving in a fast-paced team environment and delivering continuous improvements.
