Your contributions will include developing and providing a wide range of educational programs, training sessions, and learning materials, particularly for innovative initiatives like the accelerated Transition to Professional Practice Programs. You will take pride in your accountability for the outcomes of nursing and midwifery education, addressing any discrepancies between practice and policy while fostering a safe and positive work culture that prioritizes exceptional patient and client care. Key Responsibilities: Delivering tailored education and training to specific wards, units, or community programs, enhancing the skills of nurses and midwives. Supporting specific educational and training portfolios to drive professional development. Coordinating and leading projects and research initiatives aimed at improving educational outcomes and service delivery. What We’re Looking For: Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding or eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. A minimum of 3 years of post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse or Midwife. Demonstrated experience and skills in nursing or midwifery education and staff development. Proficiency in computer programs, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Ability to effectively apply relevant education theories to enhance nursing and midwifery practice.
