Lead the future of health care as the Executive Director Allied Health at SALHN.
Drive strategic leadership ensuring quality outcomes, continuous improvement, and collaboration with key stakeholders.
Shape culture, manage risks, and deliver excellence in patient care and staff development.
As a key member of SALHN's Executive Team, you will help set organizational culture, promote patient-centered care, and manage risks while balancing budget and activity.
Your leadership will steer the delivery of vital services, foster continuous improvement, and ensure the alignment of practices with professional standards.
You will collaborate with government agencies, professional bodies, and the education sector to drive innovation and ensure excellence in health services across the region.
About the role: Duties for the role will include: Lead and ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care in alignment with SALHN's strategic directions, governance frameworks, and consumer engagement plans.
Oversee the effective management of human, financial, and physical resources, ensuring alignment with Division and strategic goals, while promoting a positive work culture and staff development.
Provide strategic leadership in Allied Health services, driving innovation, integration, and continuous improvement in service delivery across SALHN.
Foster strong stakeholder relationships within and outside SALHN, contributing to state-wide and national initiatives, and supporting major organisational change processes.
Lead the development and integration of new service models, ensuring that resources are maximized, and service delivery is adaptable to the changing needs of consumers and the healthcare landscape.
About you: Registered (or eligible for registration) as an Allied Health practitioner with AHPRA, along with a post-graduate qualification relevant to the role.
Proven ability to lead and unify diverse teams across a large, complex health service, with strong negotiation skills at senior levels in both government and the private sector.
Highly developed skills in communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, and executive-level reporting, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Extensive experience in managing change programs, leading complex projects, and guiding organizations through significant periods of transformation.
Demonstrated dedication to staff education, well-being, and leadership development, with experience deploying professional development strategies and clinical practice improvements.
