About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with a passion for conference and events logistics planning to join our team as a Conference & Events Food & Beverage Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of conference and events professionals in setting up and pulling down C&E equipment, working in indoor and outdoor spaces.
* Direct and assist the team in carrying out daily duties, including manual handling tasks, movement, lifting, placement and storage of large and small furniture, equipment and stock throughout the resort, conference and event spaces and loading dock area.
* Provide exceptional customer service, anticipating client needs and communicating with other departments, suppliers, contractors and clients to proactively prevent issues arising and effectively resolve issues as they occur.
* Demonstrate a high level of C&E product and operations knowledge and maintain a safe, clean and hygienic workplace environment.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a C&E F&B Supervisor role, preferably within a conference and events or 4/5-star hotel/resort environment.
* Knowledge of C&E operations, logistics, products and F&B service procedures.
* Understanding of staff management practices, rostering and labour cost control, verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, organisational and time management skills, decision making, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
* RSA Certificate is essential and a Driver's Licence and Forklift Licence are desirable.
