As a Care Worker servicing clients in the areas of Young to Boorowa, you will enable our clients to live their best possible life, supporting them to live independently at home and doing the things they love by helping them with everyday activities such as (but not limited to):
4. Support and assistance with personal care such as showering and dressing
5. Household cleaning and laundry
6. Meal preparation
7. Providing respite for carers
8. Transport to and from appointments/shops
9. Social support
10. Assisting with complex care needs
What do we need from you?
You will need to be comfortable working on your own in the community, have excellent verbal communication skills and have an empathetic, patient and caring nature. This role does require you to have a valid driver licence and own a reliable motor vehicle with a minimum Third-Party Property Damage car insurance as you need to travel to our clients’ homes.
11. You need to be available on weekdays from 7am to 5pm
12. You will be provided with a company mobile phone to access emails, rosters and client care plans
13. It is a requirement you undergo background checks including police check
