Explore the Opportunity An opportunity has become available for a Consumer Insights Manager to join the category marketing team. Your role will be to lead the consumer insights program through the development of a deep understanding of consumers and the market and helping to advise activities and the overall strategy of the marketing team, APL and the wider industry. Here's a snapshot of your day-to-day activities: Execute the consumer insights project plan in line with the Annual Operating Plan and the annual Insights plan. Manage research projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within approved budgets. Identify key consumer insights, using relevant insights to assist and guide the marketing teams in developing strategies to meet organisational goals. Have input into the quarterly category deep-dive, for regular identification of market opportunities led by insight. Provide insight into current situations and future trends. Develop meaningful communication to stakeholders, which are measurable in volume/value opportunity for pork. Undertake analysis of post campaign results to improve strategy and/or tactics. Analyse retail and foodservice data to understand overall market and sales implications, including for supply and demand modelling and supply flow analysis. Contribute to a positive team environment. About You To be standout for this role, you'll be able to tick the following boxes: A degree in marketing or a related field. Specialisations in market research, consumer behaviour or psychology/sociology will be well regarded. Minimum 2 years prior experience working in Consumer Research or a marketing field which leveraged insights. Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a diverse set of stakeholders. Results focused with the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines. Clear and concise communication skills in both verbal and written. Demonstrated ability to be strategic and apply research learnings to marketing applications. Demonstrated relationship management skills.
