This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced salesperson looking to grow their skills. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for: The sales of rural merchandise, such as Agricultural chemicals, Seed, Animal health, Animal Management, Fencing, Water equipment and General Merchandise. The associated management of this inventory including forecasting and planning, procurement and ordering, sales processing, logistics, stock controls and stocktakes. You will work closely with management, agronomists, procurement and other team members to fulfil the needs and requirements of our clients and customers in a proactive and professional capacity. The management of the regional storage warehouse facility and associated logistics. Working alongside supplier representatives to deliver value and solutions to our clients and customers, implementing marketing initiatives, with the aim of growing our business. Analyse market trends, climatic and seasonal considerations to ensure Nutrien Ag Solutions is first choice service, advice and solutions. About You: To be successful, you will have a proactive approach to learning and a commitment to personal development. The following skills are beneficial, but not essential: A strong technical background along with experience within pricing and margin management and sales target achievement through effective category development. Ideally, we are looking for someone with relevant agricultural industry knowledge, and warehouse management experience, or a keen interest in the field. You will have the ability to network and identify opportunities for business development; this will be key to your success. You will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to foster solid long-term relationships with customers and key internal stakeholders, together with the ability to drive business outcomes and performance. You will also have excellent communication both written and verbal. Ideally you will have exposure to SAP ERP, together with strong MS Excel for reporting. Forklift ticket is beneficial, and a HR licence is advantageous or willingness to obtain. Why work for us?
