POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Technical Solutions Manager partners closely with the Customer Success Manager Team and our strategic customers to design advanced technical strategies and solutions that fully leverage the Domo platform. This senior role requires in-depth expertise with Domo’s architecture, advanced skills in cloud data warehouses (CDWs), and experience with complex integrations across diverse data ecosystems. The Senior Technical Solutions Manager serves as a key advisor and strategist, empowering customers to maximize their investment in Domo by solving complex business challenges with innovative data solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Architecting Solutions for Growth and Retention: Identify technical risks that could impact contract renewals and uncover opportunities for expanding Domo’s footprint within customer organizations. Advanced Solution Design: Develop robust architectures and solutions that address identified challenges and enable scalable growth. Implementation Leadership: Guide customers through the full implementation lifecycle of complex solutions, including integrations with CDWs like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery. Enablement and Knowledge Transfer: Conduct training and strategy sessions to equip customers with the skills to maintain and extend their Domo solutions independently. Executive and Technical Communication: Collaborate and engage with customer stakeholders at all organizational levels to ensure alignment on goals and strategies. Customer Advocacy and Platform Value: Serve as an advocate for the Domo platform, demonstrating and communicating its full value, including new features and use cases. JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 10+ years in technical consulting, solution architecture, or related roles, with a focus on business intelligence, data integration, and cloud data architectures. Domo Platform Expertise: Advanced knowledge and experience with Domo architecture, API integrations, and complex use cases. Advanced SQL and Cloud Data Warehouse Proficiency: Expertise in SQL (especially with MySQL, Redshift) and experience with CDWs (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery). Strategic Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for both business and technical audiences. Proactive Problem-Solving: Demonstrated capability to create solutions that drive business value and measurable outcomes. NICE TO HAVE Business Intelligence and Visualization Expertise: Extensive experience with BI tools and data visualization best practices. Programming/Scripting Skills: Proficiency in languages like Python, R, or Node.js for data manipulation and custom automations. Web Development Experience: Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS for developing customized front-end data solutions.
