Job Description
Nine is seeking a Sales Executive to join our Audio team. The Sales Executive is the primary day-to-day contact for the media planner/buyer, and is ultimately responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our advertising agencies and clients and driving a revenue outcome for Nine.
Day to day duties include:
1. Creating targeted advertising schedules across all audio channels, based on briefs received from advertising agencies.
2. Grow market share & revenue across your client base.
3. Understand the market trading conditions and negotiate trading discounts in conjunction with the Group Business Manager.
4. Facilitate the sale of program sponsorships, sports sponsorships and spot packages.
5. Day-to-day contact with key agency contacts.
6. Accommodate and prioritise a number of concurrent advertising campaigns.
7. Problem solving within the context of the job.
8. Lead, manage and mentor an Account Executive.
Qualifications
Enough about us, let’s talk about you:
1. A thorough understanding of media systems and measurement metrics.
2. Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
3. Demonstrated experience within sales, within a client marketing department or within a media agency.
4. Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
5. Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
6. An appreciation of the market trading conditions and ability to negotiate trading discounts on casual business in conjunction with the Group Business Manager.
7. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
8. Intermediate Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point.
9. Proficiency in Google Suite is desirable.
