Social Visitor Volunteer Role at HammondCare
Hampshire House in Hunters Hill, Australia is a Residential Care Home seeking a compassionate and friendly social visitor to spend quality time with an elderly resident.
As a social visitor, you will have the opportunity to engage in conversations about various interests such as gardening, baking, knitting, and dressmaking while enjoying coffee together at our onsite coffee shop.
Your regular visits can help improve the resident's quality of life and reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.

Our organisation is a provider of The Aged Care Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government. Our goal is to promote connections between elderly individuals and volunteers within their local community.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals aged 18 or older who are willing to commit to regular visits of 30 minutes to one hour between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday. Visits can be weekly or fortnightly depending on your availability.
