Responsibilities
1. Lead and execute all visual design stages from concept to hand-off to engineering to refinement.
2. Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and a seamless user experience toplex designs.
3. Lead and execute strategic design and information architecture decisions, applying strong empathy for users and the ability to simplifyplex requirements into an intuitive UI.
4. Translate concepts and requirements into personas, journey maps, storyboards, user flows, interactive prototypes, and user stories that lead to intuitive user experiences.
5. Lead and mentor other designers and foster a collaborative environment with constructive feedback to produce the best designs.
6. Facilitate the product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for the product.
7. Take a user-centered design approach, applying strong visual design skills, and rapidly test and iterate.
8. Assist with the development and implementation of designs by collaborating hand-in-hand with developers to ensure designed experiences are realized.
9. Facilitate design thinking sessions both internally and client facing as needed.
10. Act as an advocate for user-centered design to ensure well-designed products, with features and interfaces that allow users to aplish their tasks easily and efficiently.
11. Self-motivated, proven ability to act as a leader inmunicating conceptual ideas and design rationale, and the ability to balance great design while meeting short deadline
12. Experience estimating design efforts and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
13. Executive presence - outstandingmunication, design thought leadership, presentation and storytelling skills.
Qualifications
Required:
14. Bachelors Degree in Humanputer Interaction, Information Design, Service Design, Graphic Design, Software Engineering or Behavioral Science discipline.
15. 7+ years experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar role, participating in theplete product development lifecycle of several successfully launched web and/or software applications
16. Strong portfolio showcasing your direct contributions to similar enterprise software products
17. Deep understanding of user experience and human-centered design principles and experience with research and user testing, human-centered design, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, information architecture, interaction design, accessibility standards, and experience with design requirements documentation.
18. Advanced ability tomunicateplex information using design tools, including low fidelity to high fidelity prototypes, journey maps, storyboards, service blueprints, task flows, diagrams, wireframes & specs, and presentations
19. Experience establishing design systems and standards
20. Strong understanding of user-centered design process, modern interaction design principles with abination of design expertise and hands-on UI development skill
21. Ability to write and illustrateplete functional specifications of product-designed features and work with software development teams to ensure implementation of the designs
22. Fluency with UX design-related software and tools ( Sketch, UXPin, Figma, InVision, etc.)
Preferred:
23. Degree in Humanputer Interaction, Information Design, Service Design, Graphic Design, Software Engineering or Behavioral Science discipline
24. Experience in UX and UI design for modern B2B and SaaS products
25. Experience in UX and UI design with microservices, micro frontends architecture
26. Experience with AI, automation, integration, and business process management
27. Experience designing for users in relevant industries (Financial Services, Insurance, Banking)
28. Understanding of front-end UI technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
29. Experience with Design Thinking Methodologies
30. Background in information systems, web development, enterprise software design
