Dentsu Creative are after a bold and ambitious duo to form a Creative team (Midweight Art Director & Copywriter).
What your typical day will look like:
As the Creative team, you will work symbiotically, enhancing each other’s skills and delivering brand-transforming solutions that blur the lines between art and copy. You will inspire the agency with endlessly innovative ways of expressing creative ideas.
Other responsibilities include:
1. Executes creative concepts together with copy partner at the direction of the creative director
2. Identifies creative thinking towards big ideas
3. Presents big ideas to clients using a variety of techniques
4. Visualises concepts and interprets them into design
5. Takes ownership of creative work and leads the design team by example
6. Ensures the brand tone and position is exemplified within the creative product
7. Provides insightful, creative executions which positively impact a client’s business
8. Leads, motivates and develops the design team
9. Acts a main point of contact in the team for Account Management and Project Management
10. Oversee the development and execution of visual elements from conception, through design and pre-press across a range of channels including advertising, promotional materials, branding and signage, and interactive media
11. Contribute to the overall client tone of voice, developing language and copy in short and long form
12. Actively participate in creative briefs, presentations, and meetings, articulating ideas confidently
13. Proactively manage multiple assignments simultaneously within established timeframes and budgets
14. Partner with other creatives and across agency multi-disciplinary teams
15. Seek innovative angles and solutions to create and deliver highly effective, best practice campaigns and experience
16. Develop a thorough understanding of the client’s business as well as their competitor’s

20. Exceptional communication skills and capable of speaking with all manner of specialists – including digital, film, PR, events, behaviour change and design.
21. Degree/diploma in Graphic Design/Creative Advertising or equivalent career experience and strong copywriting experience in an agency environment
22. Strong portfolio of art direction and copy across multiple channels
