SITE ENGINEER - LANDSLIP RECTIFICATION AND MARINE PROJECTSWe are currently searching for an experienced Site Engineer with either a recognised civil or geotechnical Engineering bachelor Degree and with at least 5 to 8 years civil and piling construction background to join our experienced on-site team to assist them in delivering often complex and very dynamic civil and marine projects throughout Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
Initially the successful candidate will be based and work out of our Brisbane office alongside the Project Manager to establish project reporting, planning and management requirements prior to mobilising to site to set up and work on the recently awarded Landslip Remediation Project at Coolum Beach in Queensland for a local Council Client.
This role will see you working very closely supporting a long term experienced Project Manager and with a dedicated long term Site Supervisor and construction team where you will learn all AM&C systems and how to support projects from startup through to completion. After the initial Brisbane startup period the successful Site Engineer will then be expected to travel to and remain onsite at Coolum Beach for the duration of the works (5 to 6 months) working alongside the site Supervisor and construction team to assist the Project Manager as the dedicated Project Site Engineer managing and reporting all on site progress, Quality, Safety and Environmental data to the offsite Project Manager.
Skills and Experience The role would suit a very motivated, active, independent, mobile and driven individual with min 5 years of local Australian Site Engineering and specifically bored Piling experience. Experience with the delivery of various TMR / MSQ, local council and QRA (Queensland Reconstruction Authority) projects will be a heavily regarded advantage. The successful candidate will also need to be someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and AM&C will provide the successful candidate with lots of opportunity to learn, train and grow within AM&C and the industry.
