About the role
CBUS has an exciting opportunity for a Superannuation Insurance Underwriting Specialist to join our Insurance Operations team on an initial 6 month basis. This is an important role within the Insurance Operations team responsible for the management ofplex and escalated underwriting enquiries related to policy, insurance cover changes and other related queries. You will be an SME in insurance policy and an expert in related data analysis and investigation.
You will be responsible for the management of The Underwriting Mailbox and aiding all Cbus member facing teams for underwriting queries and reviews. You will review and respond toplex and escalated matters relevant to underwriting, including issues relating tomencement and allocation of cover, including liaising with the Administrator and Insurer to manage any issues relating to this. You will also conduct investigations and incident manage should the need arise. This is a fantastic opportunity for an insurance policy SME to contribute to the betterment of our members retirement oues.
About you
1. You will have experience in analysingplex data sets and provide clear, simple reporting outlining results of analysis, root cause findings and any rmendations.
2. You will have gained exposure within a superannuation insurance function and have a superior understanding of underwriting processes and procedures.
3. Ideally, you will havee from a superannuation background, and understand insurance policy as it relates.
4. You will have demonstrated attention to detail and have strong administrative and clerical skills.
5. Your dedication to achieving positive oues for customers/ members will be key to success.
6. You arefortable with data records and have experience managing and amending multiple files with a high degree of confidentiality.
