In line with our sustained growth, we are continuing to seek the right person to join our team as a Warehouse Supervisor. As part of our close-knit team in the Fyshwick Branch, there is the potential to be considered for career growth within the branch.
We are seeking a career-driven individual with determination who is looking for advancement and experience with coordination of a warehouse.
Role Responsibilities Include: Ensures the receipt and storage of goods confirming its accuracy and condition. Ensures all pick faces are replenished and stocked. Supervises the issue of goods to authorized persons and the completion of documentation and records involved. Ensures the maintenance of up-to-date records of goods within the store. Supervises the transfer of goods to and from the warehouse. Licensed operation of all appropriate materials handling equipment. Understands Inventory Control. Controls stock level in line with agreed framework. Handles sales or service telephone/internet enquiries. Arranges dispatch of products or product information to existing clients or new contacts and ensures its accuracy. Ensures compliance with credit procedures as issued by the Credit Department. Receives and receipts payment for goods. Supervises stores-people involved in all warehouse functions. To be successful in this role you will need: Previous experience in a similar warehousing role. A trade certificate or knowledge gained through several years of practical experience. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems. Sound keyboard and computing skills (Excel). A valid forklift license. Ability to respond to continual changing of priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and rapport-building ability.
