In addition to external audit, PKF assists organisations across the business spectrum with their integrity, governance, risk and compliance challenges and opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting with gathering necessary information from the client and setting up workpapers for the audit/review.Engaging in fieldwork and other phases of the audit for numerous clients across several different industry sectors, including not-for-profit, with varying degrees of complexity, including those with complex financial instruments and consolidated groups.Liaising with internal and third-party experts, and component/group auditors in line with appropriate auditing and ethical standards.Ensuring that audits and financial reports have been completed in compliance with applicable auditing and financial reporting standards respectively.Aiding and guiding graduate and intern staff as and when required.Identifying and documenting any areas of concern/risks identified by the audit team, emphasising relevant messages, and preparing files and deliverables for review by Manager and/or Partner.Undertaking detailed data analysis and other analytical assessments of clients and transactions to verify balances and disclosures.Delivering financial accounts, audit reports and management letters within strict deadlines on a frequent basis, highlighting an ability to work effectively and efficiently under time pressure as well as working to pre-determined job budgets.Presenting the above reports and the associated findings to Management and Those Charged with Governance or both, as applicable.Qualifications and ExperienceCompletion of an accounting degree.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Time management and attention to detail.Desire and eligibility to complete CA.Job Type: Full-timePay: $72,000.00 – $84,000.00 per yearBenefits:Free drinksFree foodParental leaveReferral programSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:Audit: 1 year (Required)Work Authorisation:Australia (Required)Work Location: In personApplication Deadline: 28/02/2025
