About the Role:
In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing services within our Renal Unit. You will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive care to patients with renal conditions, contributing to their overall health and well-being. As a professional at this level, you will have the opportunity to develop from a novice to a proficient practitioner, consolidating your knowledge and skills through continuous professional development and hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in the Renal Unit.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
* Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing timely interventions as required.
* Educate patients and their families about renal conditions and treatment options.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
* Accept accountability for your own standards of care and oversee activities delegated to others.
What We're Looking For:
* You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
* 1 year (minimum) current/recent acute nursing experience required.
* Demonstrated commitment to providing consumer/client and family-centred care.
* Your effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills will equip you to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise workloads.
* Ability to be, creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a healthcare setting.
