The MSP program provides help and support to refugees, people seeking asylum, people in immigration detention and other people who are vulnerable as a result of migration.
About the role
The Lead will collaborate with State and Territory based staff to maintain consistent roll out and delivery of services nationwide. This role provides operational leadership and advice and is the escalation point for complex operational issues and policy guidance.
This role will contribute to Australian Programs initiatives in operational service delivery, working closely with leadership teams, line managers, staff, and volunteers to build capability and knowledge of Red Cross policy, practice, and strategy implementation.
What you will bring
* A Degree in Social Work or Social and Community Services with a minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience; or other relevant qualifications, skills and experience that demonstrate equivalence to this standard, including qualifications obtained outside of Australia that you can provide a certified copy of translated to English.
* Demonstrated experience in providing professional supervision and direction to staff engaged in social casework service delivery.
* Experience in working with people from cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
* Sound skills in providing time critical, trauma informed services to people from diverse cultural and language identities in support of their identified goal.
* Strong analytical, planning, budgeting, financial management and reporting skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office or similar software and experience using databases and extracting data from analytic tools, such as Python, PowerBI.
A Working with Children Check is a mandatory requirement of this role.

This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award - Level 5. Salary from $97,397.04 + superannuation + access to salary packaging.
