We are seeking an Executive Chef who is capable of running a multi-outlet kitchen whilst working closely with the groups Creative Culinary Director.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop the kitchen team through recruitment, training, and succession planning.
* Create customer-focused menus that meet brand standards and ensure high-quality food production across all outlets.
* Foster positive customer relations and promptly resolve kitchen-related issues.
* Oversee department operations, including budgeting, forecasting, resource management, and waste control.
* Maintain effective communication within the hotel and ensure team knowledge of menu items and promotions.
* Conduct regular meetings, manage staff performance, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Address maintenance, hygiene, and food wastage, while regularly reviewing menus to align with market trends.
Experience:
* Previous, relevant experience as an Executive Chef in the hotel industry
* Experience with similar restaurants, dry ageing and world class protein programs
* Manage a team that require very structured processes
* Certificate from a recognised culinary institution
* Certified in Food Handling and HACCP
Offer:
* $10k - $13k per month (Singapore tax implications and exchange rates to be considered)
* AWS - guaranteed 1 month bonus based on tenure
* 1.5 month variable performance based bonus
* $250 monthly phone and food allowance
