Mobility Equipment Service and Repair Technician We are currently looking for an outstanding candidate to join our passionate, customer-focused and SA based team in Whyalla. We currently have regional stores in Port Pirie, Port Augusta, Whyalla, and Port Lincoln. We are looking for a handyman/woman who is mechanically minded with an interest and/or experience repairing/fixing Mobility Equipment, performing maintenance tasks, replacing spare parts or putting equipment together. No experience is necessary but evidence of abilities or skills is preferred. Part-Time opportunity available with flexible hours possible. You will be based at our Whyalla branch but will be required to travel between regional branches depending on the needs of the business.
This role requires product delivery, set-up and servicing, repairs and part-replacement as well as on-the-road and in-store customer service and sales.
Day-to-day responsibilities include: General service of Mobility Equipment Mobility / Assistive Technology equipment repair Installation / fit out and adjustments of scripted equipment & accessories Routine equipment servicing Identifying problems & faults Ordering of spare parts Installation of replacement parts Product delivery and servicing Basic customer training on safe usage of equipment Working as a team and also solo Delivering to customers Key holder responsibility Drive sales and growth of business Liaise with key clients ie. OTs, Physio, Nurses Build strong relationships with hospital teams Manage equipment - ordering, invoicing, data entry and servicing. Answering of internal and external calls and emails Responsibility of maintaining company van All required training will be provided to the successful applicants, a variety of on-the-job training, online training courses, seminars/webinars and required reading will be available depending on the role.
