About the Role
The purpose of the Respiratory Protection Program Coordinator is to coordinate the delivery of the Metro South Respiratory Protection Program.
1. Under the direction of the Director, Health Safety & Wellbeing and in consultation with representatives from each Metro South Hospital and Health Service (HHS) service and facility, deliver a HHS-wide Respiratory Protection Program (RPP) across all Metro South facilities.
2. Coordinate the Metro South fit testing schedule and collaborate with the Fit Test Technicians to perform the scheduled fit testing.
3. Supervise compliance of Fit Testing Technicians throughout Metro South with standardised RPP processes, work instructions and reporting requirements, and provide direction and support as required.
4. Develop and deliver training programs, workshops and presentations for new Fit Test Technicians across the district as required.
5. Participate in local networks and engage with external agencies in relation to the Respiratory Protection Program Health Safety and Wellbeing matters.
