The position will also ensure compliance with the management and financial controls.Key responsibilities include: Oversee and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring alignment with Group reporting timelines.Deliver essential month-end deliverables, including reporting packs, risks and opportunities, and commentary.Lead month-end review sessions, analysing variances and providing key insights to inform decision-making.Collaborate with the Group reporting team to identify and address key issues, aligning with Group reporting requirements.Drive process improvements and work with Finance Modernisation on initiatives, fostering collaboration and enhancing financial integration across the business.Strengthen financial collaboration with Treasury, Tax, Decision Support, and Rates & Allocations teams to optimise business optimisation.Support the wider finance team by providing accounting guidance and completing various ad-hoc tasks as required.About YOU Completed CPA Australia or CADemonstrated experience in a finance related roleProven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, with a strong track record in managing and motivating staffThe ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and members of the broader finance teamStrong written and verbal communication skillsWe believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they don't tick all the boxes.
