In partnership with the Australian Defence Force and supporting our Defence Maintenance Contract (DMC), Ventia are currently seeking a Technical Supervisor at Bandiana (Albury / Wodonga region) Defence Base.
The Technical Supervisor role will include the leadership and supervision of tradespeople to achieve maintenance outcomes for performance, quality, compliance, and safety.This is a full-time, permanent role with an attractive salary of 120k inclusive of super.
Responsibilities Include
* Supervision of trades personnel to ensure work meets the requirements.
* Liaising with relevant stakeholders and contractors to allocate resources effectively.
* Incident investigation and reporting.
* Establishing and maintaining effective communication with the management team to develop and maintain effective working procedures.
* Administrative work including induction for new employees, entering training records, approving leave, and maintaining attendance records.
* Leading and providing development and training support to employees, including identifying training gaps and reporting to the Site Manager.
About You
* Mechanical trade background (Preferred Heavy Diesel)
* Certificate III with leadership experience (IV would be ideal)
* MILIS/SAP experience is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to coach & lead work teams.
* You must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
