These roles are vital in ensuring that UniSQ’s School of Nursing and Midwifery continues to foster leadership, in addition to delivering a positive educational experience through teaching, research and ongoing engagement activities with our communities and other external partners.In addition to your relevant Nursing qualifications and experience, you will be highly committed to teaching excellence and have an established research profile within the area of Nursing.What you’ll do:Based at either our Toowoomba or Ipswich campus, you will:teach into our undergraduate and postgraduate programs.continue to promote and grow our post-graduate suite of courses.produce high quality research and undertake consultancy relevant to nursing, health and the University’s strategic research plan.contribute to research innovation and leadership.supervise the program of study of postgraduate students engaged in course-work and major research projects.undertake engagement activities with our communities and external partners.What will help you succeed:Doctoral Qualification in Nursing.Registered Nurse without condition, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Extensive knowledge and experience in Nursing.Evidence of high-quality tertiary teaching experience, leadership and productivity, including course and program coordination.A research track record, including high-quality publications, external funding or other relevant applied research outcomes.A capacity to lead community and professional development initiatives relevant to Nursing.What we offer:The University offers different ways of working and connecting across our physical and virtual spaces to meet the needs of our students, partners and community.
