Job Title: Credit Manager, Business Mortgages (Business Credit)

The Business Credit Team supports both our Westpac and St. George Group brands, with Credit Managers playing a key role in implementing superior credit standards, quality and risk/reward outcomes.
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate strong credit risk assessment and evaluation skills, driving local and national standardisation across Sales, Credit and Operations organisations through decisioning transactions.
You will directly work with Bankers and Lending Managers at a transactional level to increase Banker skill, promoting innovation, speed, and the elimination of waste across end-to-end processes.
Achieving 'One Team' culture by leading high engagement with colleagues, supporting business plans to meet financial and customer satisfaction targets.
Demonstrating expertise in specific decisioning of Consumer Mortgages.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
3/4 years' experience originating and/or approving credit transactions.
Significant banking/financial services experience across a broad range of disciplines.
Working knowledge of NCP & BCOP regulations.
Business capability (Problem solving, continuous improvement).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Risk Management, adaptability, strategic agility and flexibility.
Strong planning and organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time.
Ability to liaise with staff and clients at all levels.
Contributes to a strong risk culture through an open mind to continuous improvement and change.
Sound, communication, and relationship building capabilities enabling an inclusive and collaborative approach in day-to-day activities.
Intermediate: MS Office Skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and proficiency in Westpac internal systems would be highly desirable.
