We are currently looking for an experienced IT Systems Manager who will have technical oversight for the operational provision of a range of technological resources, thus enabling the Diocese to fulfil its duties and obligations in an efficient, safe and cost-effective manner.Reporting into our Financial Director and with line management responsibility for our Data Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring Diocese staff can maintain excellent two-way communication with parishes via efficient, secure and effective use of IT systems. You will also have primary responsibility for measuring, monitoring and reporting progress towards our goals, utilising data to enable robust decision-making, minimising manual and dual input of data and maximizing the use of central resources. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing the commercial contracts we have with any IT and telephone-related service providers.The role also requires strategic thinking and planning as you will both manage the process of ensuring all our data systems are joined up and provide oversight of the continuous evaluation and improvement of IT systems, their integration and ensuring that all solutions meet current and future business needs.
