You will be responsible for ensuring smooth payroll processing for approximately 6,000 employees, all while guiding a talented team of 10 Payroll Officers and Support Officers.Your main duties will include: Collaborate with national and key stakeholders to meet Calvary's needs in payroll initiatives and system rollouts. Contribute to the operational management, financial performance, and strategic direction of LCM Health Care. Develop and revise national payroll policies and procedures. Deliver efficient payroll services within a shared services structure to optimize business processes. Provide direction and support to payroll staff on system usage, quality control, and improvement. Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll while adhering to multiple agreements. Establish and maintain operating procedures for payroll processing, educating team members on effective application. Oversee risk management procedures and ensure compliance with legislative requirements, including accurate processing of superannuation and payroll deductions. About you Proven experience in payroll management or supervisory roles. End-to-end payroll processing experience, including award interpretation, PAYG, and payroll tax. Experience with CHRIS 21 as well as other various payroll systems and ability to quickly adapt to new technologies. Analytical thinking for problem-solving and developing effective solutions. Strong stakeholder management skills ensuring quality service and responsiveness to client needs. Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others.
