We aim to be a key ally for Aussie businesses, expanding our digital solutions throughout 2025!What will you do?The position is responsible for the planning and execution of testing activities for Localsearch products, to ensure the quality, stability, availability, and reliability of technology and contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of business performance. You will contribute to the continual improvement of our testing processes and systems ensuring we stay ahead of the pack.Aesthetic analysis, integration, platform, Data / BI and performance testing across an assortment of webapps.Testing analytical data applied to webapps and completing a detailed checklist across each product.Quality checking of client products leaving no stone unturned, no testing incomplete and be proud to put your name on our products in the marketplace.Identify test conditions using a range of test design techniques as appropriate.Produce, validate and manage manual test cases and scripts.Create, execute, and maintain test cases / plans and automation scripts.Develop and manage test automation, including writing test cases using Cypress or similar.Integrate test plans into overall project delivery and implementation plans.Implement testing methodologies and approaches into overall project delivery and service delivery plans.Configure test environments and integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines.Prioritise and manage test cases based on project requirements and deadlines.Manage and prepare test data.Undertake and complete all change management activities as a result of the test plans, where required.Liaise where necessary, with all relevant testing stakeholders, including Management, Developers, DevOPs, Data / BI, project managers, Scrum masters and end users.Maintain knowledge and expertise relating to testing and software development driving continual improvement.Who are you & what will you bring?A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.Strong background in automated testing.Strong understanding of Cypress or similar and their architecture.Strong experience with various types of testing, including functional, integration, performance, and exploratory testing.Ability to manage test data effectively within the testing process.Strong experience with source control management tool GitLab.Proficient in the use of bug tracking and reporting tools.Knowledge of key quality metrics for assessing software quality.Familiarity with tools and processes for performance testing.Knowledge in testing phases and approaches, including functional, regression, integration and end-to-end.Proven ability and experience in creating test designs, test processes, test cases and test data for functional and technical testing.Proven ability to execute test scenarios / plans / scripts at multiple testing levels.Proven ability to be able to learn new applications and platforms.Strong experience in the use of Defect Management tools.Strong experience in the assessment of the severity and impacts of defects against deliverables.Strong experience testing Android and iOS Mobile Apps.Experience with Microsoft and Apple Operating Systems.Thorough knowledge of software testing methodologies.Strong experience working in an agile development environment.Strong experience using defect tracking tools such as JIRA and Confluence.API testing experience – e.g. Postman.Good understanding of technical specifications.Experience with automated testing tools e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, Tricentis.A Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.Must be ISTQB Foundation Level Certified.Why it’s great to work with us!Perks - Paid parental leave, free parking, discounted gym memberships, and a café with barista-made coffee.
