We want someone who will ensure customers receive the best customer service from Austrack Campers first time, every time! To give them the feel goods of becoming an official member of the Austrack family. Leveraging your skills in sales, customer service and retail management, you will educate and inform potential customers on our range of camper trailers and hybrid caravans; encouraging them to purchase and to join an ever-growing community of Austrackers. You will also manage the showroom and be the direct report for our 4 team members in-store. You will be someone who will embrace our culture of customer centricity across the business; surprising and delighting customers with our amazing products, customer service and after-sales service. Role You will be responsible for managing the Caboolture Showroom and for providing a five-star customer service experience to our customers and potential customers; playing a pivotal role in helping Austrack Campers deliver winning outcomes for everyone. We want the reputation that nothing is ever too much trouble for us. We are there from beginning to end, sharing in their journey to buy an Austrack Camper and sharing their adventures after they hit the open road. Full training will be provided, however you will need to be energetic and proactive. Furthermore, it is expected that you have comprehensive retail sales management experience, and are skilled at leading a team and managing the daily operations of a busy retail environment. You will be the contact for: Austrack Campers HQ Austrack Campers Team Members Showroom Customer Walk-ins Showroom Customer Phone Calls Showroom Customer Email Enquiries Caravan and Camping Show Patrons at Various Annual Industry Events After Sales Service from providing ongoing support for when they have questions Customer issues You will be expected to: Manage the day-to-day operations of a busy retail showroom. Lead a small team of sales consultants. Report on showroom activity; such as sales, challenges, achievements etc. Work as part of our multi-showroom team in an incredibly fast-paced environment – based at our Caboolture Showroom. Provide product advice about Austrack Campers range of products; assisting potential customers in making an informed decision about what product is right for them. Provide customers with first-class sales/customer service via email, over the phone and face-to-face. Conduct camper trailer and hybrid caravan demonstrations and handovers. Process customer orders via our preferred accounting system – Xero. Experience with CRMs Provide post-delivery assistance in the form of after-sales support; following up customers who have purchased to enquire about their experience and to ensure utmost satisfaction levels are upheld. Conduct Sales and Handover of Camper Trailers and Caravans. Work in our showroom Monday to Saturday. Balance the till and bank all incoming monies daily. Champion and represent the voice of Austrack customers and ensure that as a team, this sentiment exists throughout the entire business, including all showrooms and departments. Work additional hours as reasonably required, including working at annual industry trade shows in QLD and interstate. You will need to Champion Austrack Campers’ Commitment Charter: Do the right thing. Put customers first. Listen with empathy and with no judgment. Deliver fair outcomes for Austrack customers and, where possible, align those outcomes with community expectations. Allow customers to have a voice. Ensure customer interests are at the centre of the choices we as Austrack make – particularly in circumstances relating to whether we ‘should’ or ‘shouldn’t’ do something. Work collaboratively internally as a team across all locations and departments to help one another get to the centre of a concern raised by a customer quickly and to reach a fair outcome. Must haves: 2 years minimum experience in a Management role. Excellent phone manner. High level team leadership skills. Ability to anticipate opportunities to surprise and delight Austrack customers. High-level multi-tasking skills. This role is not for the faint at heart. Work well under pressure without becoming flustered is a must. A team player who is able to work collaboratively and build effective relationships both internally and externally. Willing to be hands-on and be an active team player. Have great attention to detail. Must be computer literate and have experience using the Microsoft Suite of products and Google Suite of products. Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised. Are looking for a long-term position. Be proactive and self-motivated. Ability to tow campers and caravans. Nice to have: Demonstrated experience within the 4WD, caravan and camping industry will be highly considered but is not essential. If you love travel, that’s a plus. The Rewards Attractive salary + Uncapped Commissions. The more you sell, the more you will earn. Salary negotiable for the right applicant. You will work at our Caboolture Showroom with the support of Brisbane Head office.
