We are looking for a passionate and forward-thinking visual communicator to support our small but savvy marketing team. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will provide a wide range of creative outputs for Travel Associates, a luxury travel brand in the Flight Centre Travel Group, while ensuring the high levels of brand and creative standards are consistently met.
Working closely with the creative director and other team members, your role will be to provide graphic design solutions that enhance communication initiatives across print and digital platforms. This role supports all aspects of the marketing team, including creating local store marketing (LSM) materials, campaign assets, publications, digital content, event collateral, presentations and store fit-out designs. The successful applicant will have a flair for design, impeccable attention to detail and enthusiasm to take on any design job.

Your Responsibilities:
1. Ensures brand and creative standards/ guidelines are consistently met
2. Manage their own workload to support the business through the meeting of timelines and budget
3. Provide design support to other FCTG brands on an as needs basis
4. Actively participate in the planning, execution and proofing of collateral to ensure delivery to brief and on time
Your Accountabilities:
Online
5. Assume responsibility for the development and delivery of online advertising creative (static and animated).
6. Assist with the creation of responsive web assets
7. Campaign rollout across multiple online and offline channels
8. Develop sharp and topical social media creative across multiple platforms.
9. Take the lead in the creation of email and social executions / supporting assets and delivery or modification of other content to suit the digital platforms.
Offline
10. Collaborate with the creative director to develop marketing collateral based on core assets
11. Design editorial publications, manage direct mail campaigns, and handle layout design and typesetting for print and press ads
12. Create finished art, manage pre-press workflows, and support with image research, sourcing, and map illustration
13. Deliver various print executions including flyers, signage, and large outdoor formats, and edit content as needed for marketing campaigns
Our Ideal Candidate will Possess:
14. 5+ years’ experience in a design role
15. Experience with managing competing deadlines
16. Experience with building and maintaining relationships
17. High-Level Adobe skills – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, including proficiency in keyboard shortcuts
18. Experience with the Microsoft Suite – namely Outlook, Powerpoint, Word & Excel
19. Have a knack for editorial-style publication design, have an appreciation of good typography and confidence in design layouts & typesetting
20. Good pre-press knowledge
21. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
22. A great team player with a positive, friendly and enthusiastic attitude
23. Experience with luxury brands and understand the subtleties of designing for luxury
24. Previous creative agency experience
25. Marketing experience with a good understanding of marketing principles and channels, preferably in travel and/or luxury brands

Design or related qualification: Bachelor of Visual Communication
