Reporting to the Project Manager you will assist with the marine construction for the Alkimos Desalinisation Project. Scope includes:Installation of 200t Precast Intake Structures to support supply of seawater to new plantInstallation of 2m Diameter x 140m long HDPE outfall diffuser pipelinePlan, control and oversee offshore piling, drilling and grouting operationsPlan and control complex offshore logistics and marine operations with all works conducted from a 1000t Jack up Barge with a 400t offshore Pedestal cranePlan and oversee complex temporary works system and diving operations to support installation processResponsibilitiesContribute and drive engineering and design outcomes which support efficiency in marine constructionConstruction of Offshore Temporary works structures and schemesManagement of complex lifting and diving operationsOffshore vessel management and logistics managementPrepare budgets, accruals, and takeoffs and develop first principle estimates and monitor daily costsReviewing design and construction plans, schedules, temporary works designs, method statements and job safety analysis and qualityConducting risk assessments, identifying hazards, and enforcing safety protocols to mitigate potential incidentsAct as a point of contact for technical discussions with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, providing updates on road header progress, challenges, and resolutionsRequired Skills and CompetenciesBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related fieldExperience with Jack up barge operations and proceduresExperience in both self-delivery and subcontract management for offshore worksExperience in offshore piling, drilling and grouting worksWhat we offerAt ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
