Your new role
As a Statutory Planner, you will:
* Process planning permit applications and amendments.
* Manage approval of plans, extensions of permits, and submissions to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
* Provide expert advice and respond to community and stakeholder enquiries on planning matters.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and play a pivotal role in improving departmental performance.
What you'll need to succeed
* A tertiary qualification in planning or a related field
* Sound knowledge and understanding of statutory planning processes and legislation.
* Strong analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage time and conflicting priorities effectively.
* A current driving licence.
* Experience in statutory planning.
