Job DescriptionThe Field Services Representative will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, service and troubleshooting of a variety of water treatment plants comprising membrane bioreactors, multimedia and ultrafiltration processes, reverse osmosis systems and electrodialysis systems (EDR/EDI). This role will provide support as required to different drinking water applications around Australia.You will be employed by the Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS) business within the ANZ ES Team. Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions is a leading global solution.Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:Service water treatment plants at designated locations across Australia.Install and service chemical feed and water treatment equipment at designated locations. Perform water analysis and collect water samples for preparation, labeling, and shipment to designated laboratory for analysis.Complete and distribute on-site reports and log sheets. Conduct preventative maintenance and calibration on water treatment plants.Assist with site water treatment plant commissioning when required.Troubleshoot and repair/organize repairs for pumps, pipework, instruments, and control panels. Maintain critical spare parts inventory on sites.Travel to provide support to different projects in WA and NT regions as required. Ensure safe work practices including the development and implementation of safe work method statements, risk assessments, injury and incident reporting, and other WHS requirements for your area of work. All procedures, processes, and behavior must comply with Veolia WTS Code of Conduct, EEO, and Anti-discrimination principles.Conduct training for customers and other Veolia personnel to enable them to operate prescribed equipment safely and effectively when the FSR is not on site.Qualifications:The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in water operations, mechanical, chemical, electrical, or a related trade. Candidates should have tertiary education or trade qualification, or at least 1 – 3 years of work experience in water operations. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and a customer-focused approach are essential. Ability to read and interpret instruction manuals, safety manuals, P&IDs, equipment data, and laboratory analysis is required.Additional Information:We are an Equal Opportunity Employer!
