The Actuarial Analyst will provide actuarial, analytical, and technical support to the Actuarial Results team.Key Responsibilities include:Support the delivery of:Consolidated valuation results from Consumer, Commercial, Workers’ Compensation, and CTP.Monthly Actuarial Results including accounting journals for Finance.Quarterly and Annual APRA forms.Consolidated Actuarial Valuation Reports for AAI.Risk Margin and Claims Handling Expense Reviews.Actuarial, analytical, and technical support includes:Data preparation, validation, and analysis.Design or assessment of the reasonableness and suitability of models and results prepared.Documentation of processes, analysis, and investigations undertaken.Preparation of reports to present results.What you’ll bringRelevant degree in Statistics, Actuarial, Engineering, Mathematics, Econometrics, or Computer Science related field – MandatoryProgression through Part I and II Actuarial Exams – DesiredKnowledge of spreadsheet modelling (Excel) and data extraction (SQL or SAS) preferred.Strong analytical aptitude.Ability to work as a team member and communicate effectively (oral & written).Capability to work independently with limited guidance to meet the deliverables.What we can offer youSuncorp's employee benefits are designed to support, empower, and reward our people.
